How long have you been doing photography and videography?
I’ve been taking pictures and creating videos since late elementary and early middle school! I loved using my mom’s camera to take pictures of our family trips, and I made funny videos with my little sisters. So I basically picked up a camera around 2004/2005, but I got my own camera in 2010 when I was in high school. The first camera I bought was a Canon Rebel t4i, and it catapulted a passion for being a photographer and videographer! My first photoshoots were senior portraits for friends in high school, and I also created video highlights for my homeschool basketball team (I know, they exist) every year at our banquet. The first wedding I ever worked was in 2015, and my business has been growing ever since!
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in events, travel/outdoors, fitness, and weddings,. But I also do many other things, such as family photography, commercial, senior photos, maternity sessions, artistic portraits, music videos, and more! If you don’t see something on my website that you may need, just shoot me a message and I’m sure I’d be able to help you out!
What certifications do you have?
I have my unmanned pilot’s license to fly drones to get aerial perspectives! My drone can be used for a wide range of things, whether it’s for landscapes, events, weddings, or hunting. I also have my scuba diving certification through PADI. I can provide you with underwater footage if you need it for travel advertisements or for your own personal travel documentary. Not only can I help you on land, I can help you in the skies and in the waters!
Do you travel?
I do travel! I have my passport so wherever you need to go, I can be there. I am located in Abilene, Texas, but it’s very common for me to travel all over Texas for different photo or video sessions. I’ve also traveled across the states, and internationally to take photos and videos. Whether it’s a destination wedding, a trophy hunt, or a vacation, I can be there!
What is your Travel Fee?
My travel fee for driving is $0.50 per mile outside the 10 mile radius of the zip code 79605. The traveling includes traveling to the location and back. As for travel expenses outside of driving, such as flights and lodging, it’s all dependent on the project, location, and budget. This is where I’ll talk with you individually to figure out the best plan to cover travel expenses.
Do you do commercial work?
I most certainly do! I’ve helped a number of businesses with photography and video. I have also helped nonprofits with whatever they’ve needed, whether it was event coverage or headshots. I can take portraits of you and your team, I can do bio videos about your business, I can even provide recommendations on what type of content you may need to advertise your business. Before I jumped into my business full-time, I worked in marketing for 5 years. We can chat and I’d love to help you out in any way I can!
Do you show return on investment (ROI) in your commercial work?
I have been informed by a number of businesses that the quality photography and cinematography I provide has helped improved their numbers in different ways. Whether it’s a growth in sales for fitness apparel, a growth in gym memberships, or a growth in ticket sales for their events, having professional photos or videos will provide a return on investment (ROI)!
Do you do both photography and videography at the same time?
It depends on what coverage you’re needing. If you’re a gym needing social media content, I’m able to provide both photos and videos at the same time. If you have an upcoming wedding, I’ll only focus on photography or videography. There’s so much that takes place during a wedding that I’ll only focus on one aspect of media coverage. If I try to do both, I will be missing something in the photos or in the video. Now when it comes to some events, I may be able to do a little bit of both, but I’d have a bigger focus on photography or video. It all depends on the occasion. But of course, when it comes to weddings, I can either do one or the other, not both at the same time.
How much notice do you need for me to book with you?
Preferably the sooner the better. If you have a date in mind already, just let me know so we can book the session. Now of course I have different types of bookings, because booking a three day event is different from booking a short family photography session. When it comes to events or weddings, it’s incredibly helpful to have those booked out as soon as possible. Of course I have booked a wedding that was 3 days away from when the contract was signed, but that includes a late fee. Events or weddings that are booked within two weeks before it actually takes place includes a $150 late fee. As for smaller sessions, I could be available within 24 hours, it just all depends on my schedule and if I’m booked or not. Basically, just ask me if I’m available a certain day! If I am, then I recommend you book the date before somebody else books it.
Why don't you show your pricing on your website?
I exclude my prices because each project is unique! Asking for the photography and videography prices is like asking how much a home costs. It all depends on the size of the home, the construction, if remodeling has been done, if it needs updates, and more, of course. Same goes for your project. To create the best outcome for you, all bases will be covered to review what will be your best customized package.
How do you deliver photos and videos?
Your photos and/or videos will be delivered through a Google Drive link majority of the time. Once I complete the editing process, I upload all the files to a folder, and then I’ll send the link to you through email, text, or direct message. I always recommend you download everything for yourself so you don’t have to continually go back online to view the pictures or video. That, and after 6-12 months I typically erase the folders on the Google drive to make more space for other projects (but all of the files are saved on my personal hard drives). When it comes to special occasions such as weddings or quinces, I will send a website link to you, that way you can share your photos and videos with your friends and family! And about a week or so later, you can expect a customized wooden USB drive in the mail, holding all of your memories!
